With Cristiano Ronaldo’s revelation in the post-match interview following the Champions League final in Kiev coming to the fore, many top clubs have been linked with acquiring the defending Ballon D’Or winner.
The Mirror reported that his mother Dolores would prefer a return to Manchester red for her son more than any other option he currently has on the table.
Dolores Aveiro, who shared the joy of a third Champions League triumph in as many years with her son on the pitch following the game, has claimed that she would prefer a move to Manchester over Paris.
“I like Paris. I come every now and again. The last time was when my son received the Ballon d’Or. It was a great honour. When I arrived I was treated well by everyone,” she was quoted as saying.

But she did add: “Convince Cristiano to sign for PSG? To be honest, it wouldn’t annoy me [if he did], but I would prefer him to return to Manchester United.”

To add to this saga, Ronaldo himself spoke to the reporters during the Real Madrid Champions League trophy parade, stating: “A player’s personal things aren’t the most important thing now, it might have been taken out of context but maybe I shouldn’t have said what I said.
“But when you are honest, sometimes you say things that you don’t mean to, but it’s something that’s been a long time coming. I’ll talk in a week when I am with the national team because I don’t want to take this top moment away from Real Madrid.”
