The game’s gone, hasn’t it?

That’s because the Swans have broken their club transfer record to re-sign Andre Ayew from West Ham… a player they signed for FREE just two-and-a-half-years ago.
Ayew first moved to south Wales in 2015 for absolutely nothing after his contract expired at Marseille.
And he was a real hit, scoring 12 times in one season and proving to be one of the signings of the season.

That convinced West Ham, who were looking to flex their financial muscle after moving to the London Stadium, to fork out a club record £20m fee of their own to bring Ayew to east London.
It’s fair to say his Hammers career never reached those dizzy heights, scoring just nine goals in 18 months.
But this didn’t happen a lot at West HamReutersAnd now Ayew is going back the way he came for £18m; also the most the Swans have ever forked out for a player.
Ironically, he even initially turned his nose up at the idea because he felt he could engineer a move to a ‘bigger club’.
Nice try, Andre.
Is the Ghanaian forward now stuck in a constant state of flux between those two mediocre Premier League clubs?
