There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Mauricio Pochettino and Danny Rose after what happened in the Champions League clash versus APOEL.
Spurs had already topped the group beating heavyweights like Dortmund and Real Madrid.
Goals from Fernando Llorente, Son Heung-Min and George N’Koudou on the night squared off a memorable group stage outing for the Spurs.
Rose was however substituted after he got a cut on the face, and was substituted. The Englishman was back after a lengthy lay-off due to injury and is finding it to hard to replace Ben Davies at left-back.
There were words exchanged by the manager and the player at the touchline after which Rose stormed off into the tunnel. Twitter went wild about it.
Well well well … Twitter experts told me that Danny Rose going down the tunnel was him throwing his toys out the pram.
Seems he went to get stitched up.
Well done 'experts'

There have been transfer rumours surrounding Rose who has been heavily linked to the Red Devils as early as the January transfer window.
However, the Spurs manager clarified that the substitution was only in the light of the cuts that Rose had endured. The Argentine boss also emphasised that he could not take any risks with him and that the defender had gone into the tunnel since he needed stitches.
Footage emerged at full-time where Rose and Pochettino were spotted together which put to bed all speculations of any possible fallout.

The Spurs boss has to be cautious in using his resources wisely since his side is now in 6th place and have dropped points in the last four games.
Rose has started in only two Premier League fixtures and will look to hold on to his place when they host Stoke City on Saturday.
