Take a breath.
Because Liverpool are through to the last four of the Champions League, having overcome Premier League rivals Man City in the quarter-final.
Pep Guardiola’s side scored after two minutes to give themselves hope, but failed to put away anymore of their numerous chances – allowing Liverpool to eventually get back into the game and score twice in the second-half.

AP:Associated PressOn the 42nd minute, Liverpool’s Loris Karius punched clear Kevin de Bruye’s floated pass into the box, which fell to the unsuspecting feet of James Milner and bounced back towards the goal.
Sane was then on hand to tuck the ball into the net, but the referee blew his whistle and disallowed the goal, ruling that Sane was in an offside position at the time.
Fair enough, you say? Except that’s not exactly what happened, with the ball very clearly coming off of Milner – who’s not a City player (anymore) – so the goal definitely should have counted.
Karius comes off his line to punch the ball clear The ball pings to Milner And bounces clear towards the goal Sane gets into position And pokes the ball homeSo on second inspection, it looks like a huge mistake by the referee and it’s probably what everyone will be talking about tomorrow morning.
We’re pleased to say that we’re not alone, with this lot having plenty to say about the moment on Twitter.
